We log your access to Eduard Cloud, the email that is linked to your Google account, and your OpenTopography API key. We store this information in a secured database. We only use this information for debugging purposes or if we need to contact you. We never disclose this information to any third party except as may be required by law. All payment details are handled by Stripe, a trusted payment processor. We do not have access to your credit card number or any other confidential payment details.
A Google account is required to associate you with your shadings and your Eduard credits. You can sign in with any Google account, but if you have multiple accounts, always use the same account.
Yes, you can change the shading parameters, such as the direction of illumination, as many times as you like at no additional cost. You can also download the changed shading as many times as you like, free of charge.
Yes, the shaded images created by Eduard are georeferenced. You can download georeferenced GeoTIFF, PNG or JPEG files.
Yes, your shadings are stored in the cloud. Sign in with your Google account to see and change them.
Eduard Cloud and Eduard for macOS both use advanced machine learning for creating shaded relief images. Eduard for macOS has additional functionality for blending various other types of shaded layers, masks and adjustments, and also has more advanced data import and export capabilities.
